this....sunlight streaming in through the window as two white haired women are
very content to share a quilting moment.
The younger one is at the sewing machine pulling fabric from the "crazy
box" and sewing a crazy quilt, piece by piece, to then pass it to the elder at
the ironing board who meticulously
irons it smooth to pass it back for the next piece. The natural flow of these moments are
sometimes interrupted by a wonderful memory of my Aunt
Tinnie....
"I
remember when Barbara and I would lie in bed under a crazy quilt and look at the
different pieces and say - I had a dress like that - or you had a skirt like
that piece"

and I smile
and continue sewing
This
is our Almeda Design Studio (more specifically termed Tinnie's Craft
Room)
where
we have created a few Valentine's gifts for your
consideration.
